Archbishop Spalding High School Parents' Association

 General Information

Congratulations to the 2008-2009

Parents Association Officers!

Sandra A. Penn, President – For the past two school years I have served as Vice-President of the Spalding Parents Association.  My husband George and I live in Columbia and have one daughter, Taylor who graduates in 2009.

During Taylor’s freshman, sophomore and junior years I have chaired committees and volunteered for many Spalding Parents Association activities. My husband and I also volunteer time in support of Spalding Theatre productions and other school sponsored activities.  We enjoy volunteering our time and efforts in support of Spalding and the activities that Taylor is involved.   All of the volunteer opportunities have given us the opportunity to network and get to know other Spalding parents and many Spalding students.

I am fortunate to have the flexibility in my position as the Administrative Services Manager for Structural Group in Hanover Md. to be at Spalding whenever I’m needed.

I welcome the opportunity to serve as the President of Spalding Parents Association for the 2008-2009 school year so that I can continue working with parents to contribute to the support of the student body and administration of ASHS.

Marilyn Hendley, Secretary – I have been the Secretary of the Parents Association here at Archbishop Spalding High School for the last five years.  I started when my daughter Michelle was a sophomore at Spalding.  She is now a sophomore at the University of Maryland.  I also had a daughter, Stephanie here and she graduated in 2007 and is attending York College of Pennsylvania School of Nursing.  My son Kyle is currently a Junior so next year will be my last year here with him being a Senior.

I am a real estate agent with Long and Foster which affords me flexibility in my schedule.  I would like to continue my last year here at Spalding in the capacity of Parents Association Secretary.  My family has been blessed to have had this remarkable experience in our lives and look forward to enjoying another year here at Spalding.  Whatever I can do for the Parents Association, the administration or the students, I will be happy to do.

Amy Stolarski, Treasurer – I am interested in returning as the Parent Association Treasurer for next year.  I enjoyed the work this year and would very much like to do it again.  I have 2 children at Spalding.  My daughter Meagan is a junior and my son Steven is a freshman.
